Survey Instrument
This EVM practice survey is designed to (1) compare the current EVM practice and standards in different industry sectors and regions; (2) identify issues that hinder the acceptance and usage of EVM; (3) provide understanding of the practitioners’ perceptions of the contribution of EVM to project outcomes; and (4) identify critical success factors for EVM implementation. The survey includes 32 questions in 5 different categories. It was published in an online survey hosting website and administered between October 2008 and April 2009.
