Next Steps
Testing is generally a development phase that gets sacrificed by a number of projects for the sake of meeting the project deadline. Insufficient testing results in products of poor quality. In addition, for e-commerce applications, testing becomes a bigger challenge due to the large potential customer base and varied environments for the application. This chapter focused on the activities that should occur during the testing phase.
In the next chapter, we will discuss some enhancements that can be made to JavaStop by using Enterprise JavaBeans and CORBA. I also will point you to other references from which you can gather more knowledge about working with Oracle8i and Java to develop e-commerce applications.
