Next Steps

This chapter discussed the important issue of how to ensure that JavaStop can handle runtime exceptions that occur while connecting to JSTP. We looked at various JDBC provided classes that can help in exception handling. We also discussed how exception handling code can be added to both the JDBC and SQLJ implementation of JavaStop. The next chapter will show you various techniques that can be used to debug Oracle8i and Java code. In addition to debugging JavaStop code, we will look at debugging performance problems that can occur while running JavaStop in a demanding environment.
