#28: Remember the triangle: Features, Resources, Time

Although it is certainly true that it is useful to look at all sides of the triangle when you consider changing one, as described in Rule #28, I want to stress that adding resources doesn’t necessarily mean adding more people. It likely means adding more of the virtues that people have, such as creativity and the ability to collaborate. Whatever the situation you’re in, make sure you use the Ask For Help protocol. Has each person maximized the effectiveness of the amount and type of help he asks for? Have you made sure to ask all involved what they think the best idea is?
