New Elements

Some of the new elements in HTML 4.0 are new only to the HTML specification; they have been in one or both browsers for some time. Other elements are brand new and may not yet be part of either browser. Table 7.1 lists all the new elements defined in HTML 4.0. The table also indicates the version of each browser that first supported each element.
