What's Next?
So, what's next? Well, lots and lots of practice. We didn't have the space to cover 100% of the details and features in DVDSP, but we hit the biggies. Hopefully you've got a sense of confidence in your ability to work in DVDSP. You should go play with it now. Back up all your files and then go to town! Try things out. As we said at the beginning of the book, don't be afraid to burn a few test discs to see if things really are working the way you expect. Now that you've gone through the book, we hope you won't be burning as many coasters as before, but even so, experimenting is OK.
Actually, we encourage it! Have fun with the projects and be sure to check out the "best practices" recommendations in Appendix B. Most of those recommendations also are in the video portion of the DVD if you want to see them in action. The introduction to Appendix B has more details on the various tests you can watch.
