Installing Components
This part of the build is really fairly easy if you follow along closely. The systematic approach we give you, however, is not written down anywhere else that we know of—so be sure to pay attention. Although we developed the following techniques from numerous trials and errors, we want you to get it right the first time!
How to Install the Motherboard
In the following steps, you'll place and secure the motherboard inside your case. This isn't terribly difficult, just be sure you don't bang the board into any sharp edges or metal pieces on your way in.
1. | Install the motherboard screw anchors that were included with the accessories that came with your motherboard.
