The average PC user gets on the computer to check email, finish up some office work, and do a little bit of research or online shopping. Is this all you're going to do with your PC, or do you plan on using it for gaming, video editing, or something more? How you plan on using your PC is the single most important factor in deciding what to build, aside from cost, which is also affected by this decision.
