Content is the reason your audience comes to your site. Add to this the fact that you have chosen a CMS to develop your site, and you have two pretty big factors encouraging you to understand your content needs fully. The content analysis is an in-depth look at your content needs.
Content influences several design decisions. It also influences the site structure (how the site is organized), the interface (how the content is laid out), and some user interactions (how the content is loaded to the site). Table 4-5 provides a brief introduction to the various content-related analyses discussed in the pages that follow. Each decision in the table can affect content decisions you need to make later.
