TURTLE

Multiple layers of color and a unique texture are what make this turtle a great project. Starting with the lightest and brightest yellows and oranges and working into the darker browns, you will see the image start to unfold. Be sure to leave some areas of the yellow showing so that you keep the full range of colors. I chose to add some magenta to the turtle to liven things up, but you could certainly add other colors like purple in the shadows or some greens to offset the oranges. If used in moderation, these unexpected touches of color can really make your artwork come to life.
