I hope you have enjoyed this book and “watching” me as I draw! I certainly had a lot of fun creating these drawings and describing how I achieved each effect. It also has been very enjoyable observing the subjects for this book. You will discover that half the pleasure of drawing animals is watching them.

You don’t need a fancy studio and expensive equipment to succeed at drawing—you just need to persevere. Remember that the key to drawing well is to practice as often as you can. Experiment with different techniques, methods, and equipment to find your personal style. Try to draw something every day—you will be pleasantly surprised by how rapidly you improve. But most of all, enjoy the journey and have fun along the way.
