ACCIDENTS AND MISTAKES CAN PLAY A LARGE ROLE IN YOUR ART-MAKING WORLD.

A few years ago, I was making and selling fabric transfers of my artwork using T-shirt transfer paper. A printed page was sitting on my studio desk waiting to be ironed onto fabric when I accidentally splattered some watercolor on it; the way the paint reacted was really cool! I began experimenting with painting on transfer paper and then ironing it onto watercolor paper and fabric. I tested other media and started to layer the transfers on top of each other, which resulted in a process similar to relief printmaking.
