LINDWORM
A lindworm is an armless dragon with legs and wings. A large creature known for eating cattle, the lindworm was recognized by ancient Europeans as a symbol of war. Despite having wings, this beast generally does not fly.
Step One With a 3H pencil, I block in the basic shapes of the head, neck body, tail, wing bone, and part of the legs.
Step Two I add to my initial shapes by refining the head and adding the far wing bone, the thigh, and the feet. Note that the head and feet resemble a rooster’s at this stage.
