Choosing the Right Company

One of the biggest problems associated with the industry of network marketing is that most people do very little research when it comes to the company they sign on with. And even if you ultimately do your research, traditional business criteria may not be applicable to finding the right network marketing company for you.

As you read though the guidelines and suggestions that I provide in this chapter, you may come to the conclusion that I’m biased. My answer to that allegation is that of course I am biased. I have spent more than 20 years in the industry of network marketing, and I have seen what works and what doesn’t work. Over the years, I have paid close attention to what works for the newest person.

If you are currently involved with a certain type of company and what I say next goes against what you are being told, I would ask you to consider how long you have been with the company and how much you are currently making in bonus money each month. Before you go on the attack, be sure that you are having the success you expected. There are always exceptions to the rules.

In the past year, I had the opportunity to choose a new company for my team and myself, and I (along with a group of leaders) created a list of criteria that we used to find the best long-term fit for our team.
