Snowcovered (www.snowcovered.com) is a thriving online marketplace for DNN modules, skins, and other applications. This is typically the first place most DNN users go to find additional functionality to add to their DNN websites because there are many, many products listed for sale. I particularly like the way product types are separated into categories such as New Releases and Most Popular on the home page. The Top Developers category on the home page is helpful because it shows you who the top ten sellers are. Chances are, if you purchase a module or skin product from one of the Top Developers, you'll be getting a good product that is well-supported.
Snowcovered.com is really a facilitator of sales from developer to developer, or developer to end user. Anyone can post a product for sale, and all product support is handled through Snowcovered directly between buyers and sellers. Snowcovered takes a whopping 25 percent of transactions, but when you consider that posting products costs you nothing, and the fact that all product support is handled through their system and policed by Snowcovered, it's really a pretty good deal if you don't want the headache of setting up your own e-commerce solution. And getting paid is easy as Snowcovered uses Paypal to pay vendors once each month.
