Monitoring the Quality of IMAP Service
To ensure that the IMAP service is maintained at a high level of quality, consider defining one or more TCP Server probes. Specifically you want to probe the IMAP service. You can create a probe in Domino Administrator, in the Configuration screen. Choose Statistics & Events, Probes, TCP Server in the Tasks pane. Then choose New TCP Server Probe in the Action Bar over the Results pane. If one doesn't already exist, create a probe in which you choose "All Domino servers in the domain will probe their own configured ports." In addition, create at least one probe in which one server is probing another.
