The Welcome Page
The most obvious difference between Notes R4.x and R5 is the addition of a new user interface that Lotus calls the Welcome page. Many users, especially those used to previous versions of the Notes client, look at this addition with skepticism.
The Welcome page puts an experienced user on unfamiliar ground. Many dislike having to learn a completely new interface to a product they may have used for a decade or more.
