Troubleshooting

There really isn't too much to worry about with users. Usually their problems have to do with their ID file becoming corrupted or they've forgotten their password. In earlier releases of Notes, all you could do was find an old copy of their ID and hope that someone had a password that worked.

Now Notes gives you the option to store password recovery information with the ID file. To do this, however, you must set up the certifier ID to create IDs with this information or you will have to recertify all the IDs after setting up your certifier. Adding Recovery Information to Certifier IDs in Chapter 5 shows how to set up the certifiers to allow Password Recovery of ID files.
