Calendaring and Scheduling Setup

Although Notes calendaring and scheduling are not strictly mail related, they are pretty well integrated into the mail function. Users' calendars are part of their mail databases. Also, when users schedule meetings, their invitations and resource reservations go out through mail. So, we'll cover calendaring and scheduling as part of the mail function.

There is little actual administration involved in Notes calendaring and scheduling. It pretty much just runs itself. When first setting up a Domino domain, you should create a Resource Reservations database and configure it.
