Setting Up Mail Routing

To set up mail routing, you have to configure the following documents in the Domino Directory:

  • For each server, its Server document.

  • For each server or for named groups of servers, a Server Configuration document.

  • If mail routing takes place across Notes named network or Notes domain boundaries, two or more connection documents and, optionally, domain documents.

  • If mail routing takes place across boundaries with non-Notes domains, appropriate connection and foreign domain documents and, depending on the requirements of the gateway software, other documents.
