OU Certifiers
If you haven't created user organizational units yet (and you intend to assign users to them), now is the time to create them. Whether you will use OUs depends on policies that you should have established before now. If you haven't made that decision yet, read Chapter 2, "Planning an Installation," now to learn the pros and cons.
The detailed instructions for registering organizational units are in Chapter 3, "First Server Installation and Setup." We'll review the procedure briefly here. When you register an OU1 certifier, you use the O certifier to certify it. When you register an OU2 certifier, you use an OU1 certifier to certify it, and so on. To register any certifier, do the following:
