Domino effect(s) may cause accident scenarios with devastating consequences in the chemical and process industry. This book explains and discusses the context and state-of-the-art of technical, scientific and managerial knowledge concerning such accident scenarios, caused by the escalation of a primary event to a complex accident scenario, often involving multiple plant units. Single chemical plants as well as chemical industrial clusters should be considered when dealing with domino scenarios.
