I'm going to finish with a look at some of the ways that JavaScript and the Document Object Model are being used today. These uses point to an exciting future.

I began this book with an over-the-shoulder look at the history of JavaScript and the emergence of a standardized Document Object Model. Describing the past is relatively easy. Hindsight is 20/20 vision. Trying to predict the future is a much trickier proposition, but that's what I'm going to attempt now.
