Now that you are familiar with building and storing containers, we wanted to briefly talk about using CI/CD systems with Docker images. Many companies today have adopted Dev/Ops practices and use an automatic build system such as Jenkins, TravisCI, or Teamcity to automatically build their code. When code is automatically built its simple to add the code to a container within the Docker build process. If your thinking of running Docker in production we highly suggest building your images with an automatic continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) build system. The ease of Docker build and push while combined with a CI/CD system might be one of the most powerful Dev/Ops service deployment methods to date.
