Fitting Oversized Wheels

Sometimes, you want to add larger wheels and tires than the stock bodywork allows. This may make you want to give up and settle for less rubber, but this problem can be overcome with enough money and determination. If you aren’t getting too wild, you may need just the determination.

The cheapest way to fit wider tires is to roll the inner fenders. At its mildest, this simply takes the inner metal lip on the fender and folds it outward, preventing it from cutting into the tire. A little more force can push the sheet metal ever so slightly outward to give you a little more clearance.
