Combining Forced Induction with Other Mods

Adding forced induction to an engine represents a major change. Some aftermarket mods will not even bolt up to the parts required for a turbo kit or supercharger setup. If you install a turbo, you will not be able to keep any aftermarket headers you may have installed, and probably not any cold air intake either. A supercharger may replace the intake manifold and cold air intake system. Of course, any decent kit will include its own replacements for these parts, designed to work with the rest of the kit. One of the other key changes is that an engine running forced induction is likely to need premium gas.
