Screwdrivers

Most of the time, you will only need basic slotted and Phillips screwdrivers. Sometimes you will find parts that use other styles of screw heads, including hexagonal (Allen) and six-pointed stars (Torx). Sometimes you’ll get the impression designers picked these oddball screws to make your life frustrating. If you’re trying to work on something that was put on to satisfy some legal requirement, this might literally be the case, but usually there’s another reason.
