Working with the electrical system often requires tools for connecting wires and tools for testing the circuitry. A wire cutter and a wire stripper, or a tool that combines both, are essential. Often, you will find yourself wanting to connect a wire to a terminal (a connector at the end of a wire that either works as a plug or is connected to a bolt) or join two wires. Often, the most reliable way to do this is by crimping the wire to the terminal or connector.
