Yes, I really did this.

When I was in college, a couple of weeks before Easter, a friend and I walked around New York City for a few hours wearing bunny suits—complete head-to-toe bunny suits. We walked down Broadway. We shopped. We took the subway. We got thrown out of a diner when we sat down and ordered “salads—hold the salad dressing.” Whenever bystanders were in earshot, we argued with each other in animated fashion about which of us was getting stuck with more of the Easter preparation work.
