29.5 Putting It All Together

You have learned to use Django, used its core and its contributed library, and extended it to take full command of its power. And now you have deployed it—fully-featured—to the cloud. Congratulations!

Our website is now publicly available with logging, email, and caching, and we were able to do it with very little effort thanks to a managed cloud solution. We could keep adding services. There are services for monitoring performance, catching exceptions, and performing split testing to see what our visitors prefer. It all depends on what we need and where we want to go from here.

In many ways, building a website is only the first step to a much larger, longer journey—a journey you are now prepared for.
