Put the chapter, appendix or part label, number, and title on the same line

Place all of the parts of a chapter, appendix, or part title on the same line, rather than on separate lines, which is the default.

By default, the chapter label, number, and title are rendered on three separate lines. That’s probably not the most common choice of template designers. It’s more common to have the label and number on one line and the title on another or all three items on the same line. Here’s how to accomplish that.
