Add chapter, appendix, or part numbers to page numbers

Use a custom marker to add the chapter, appendix, or part number to page numbers in the footer.

The PDF plugin doesn’t add chapter, part or appendix numbers to page numbers out of the box. Fortunately, it’s easy to add them yourself. You create a marker that contains the current chapter/appendix/part number and add that marker to page numbers in your headers or footers.

A marker retrieves information from some other place.
