Create a shell file to launch an ANT build (Mac, Linux)

Create a shell file that launches your ANT build file with a single click.

Using startcmd.sh to create output from the DITA Open Toolkit is great, but who wants to type that command line all the time? It's a lot easier to make a custom shell file for each build you plan to run. Then, a simple double-click gets you on your way.

  1. In the DITA-OT folder, make a copy of startcmd.sh (Mac, Linux).
  2. Rename the copy to reflect the purpose of the build or the title of the output.

    For example, WidgetUserGuide.sh.

  3. Move the new shell file to the appropriate location.
