The attribute sets you use to format the appearance of elements that are widely used or that aren’t easily categorized are found in commons-attr.xsl, commons-attr_fop.xsl, and commons-attr_xep.xsl. Here is a list of those attributes along with their purpose and what XSLT stylesheets they are called from.
Commons-attr.xsl is by far the largest attribute set file. To make it a little easier to work with, I separated attribute sets that have to do with titles, graphics, notes, and general text into separate tables. These categories are my own and not necessarily comprehensive.
