Paragraph and character formatting: word processing applications to XSL-FO match-up

It’s likely that you’re migrating from a common word processing application to DITA and that you want to migrate your template as well. This match-up will get you started customizing attribute sets to reproduce the paragraph and character formatting in your current templates.

These are the closest equivalent FO attributes for the properties found in most common word processing applications. In some cases, the match is exact. In some cases, the match is approximate. In other cases, there is no equivalent.

For details on using each attribute, check your XSL-FO reference.
