Gamification creates new opportunities for how librarians engage online with their students. Applying game elements to research tutorials, librarians at the Gardner-Harvey Library at Miami University’s regional campus in Middletown, Ohio, built an online “Choose Your Own Research Adventure” interactive game to help students experience both the positive and negative outcomes of their research choices.
