Abstract

Innovative educational technologies are important to any academic institution. Since opening in 2005, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) has sought to address health-care disparities in the north with academic programs that are structured to specifically attract, train, and retain physicians for practice in northern communities.
