8. Packing Your Toolkit
The phenomenal popularity of blogging is often chalked up to egotism, voyeurism, or even idealism, but the truth is that none of these traits is new. What’s new is the ease with which we can now exercise those egos and ideals. We open a web browser to a blog authoring page, compose an entry, post it with a quick click of the Submit button, and voilà, we’re publishers on an international scale.
It sounds simple, and it is. Or at least it can be. Choosing your software tools from among the many dozens available can be frustrating.
