Many leaders are aware of the fact that it is important to network inside and outside of their companies, but they often don’t take the time to create the connections that could serve them well in their roles, and at the same time, build brand recognition. Don’t look at networking as just going to dinners or parties and shaking hands. Think of it as connecting with people every day, in a variety of ways. CEO networking is really about creating genuine relationships that are mutually beneficial. CEOs with strong brands have powerful networks.
