Building a strong leader brand doesn’t imply that everyone should like you or approve of you. Some people don’t really know you, some people don’t understand you, agree with you, or even care about you, and that’s okay. Being a good leader doesn’t require you to be a perfect person. Be true to your core values, live those values, and don’t worry about naysayers. Leadership isn’t a popularity contest. You don’t have to be liked by everyone. Live by your brand values and stay with your own True North.
