Little did they know ….” Narration is the control of the flow of information as to who gets to know what, when, where, how, and why. This includes the characters and the audience. Who gets to know first? Do the characters or the audience get the information first? Believe it or not it makes a big difference in how the scene plays emotionally. The pace at which the audience gets to know information speeds up, as they get more involved in the story.
