Everyone hungry to make films wants to know the “secret of how you got the money” for a particular project, but each process is different. It is particular to the project, to you the producer, and to the organization to which you are applying. Getting funds is key to making documentaries for a living.

If you begin to make films of your own, you will have to decide whether to incorporate or apply for fiscal sponsorship.
