Over the past 3 years, the High-Tech Crime Institute (HTCI) has been training weapons intelligence teams (WITs) in digital triage forensics (DTF). During this time, HTCI has seen a definite change in attitude toward the role of the digital forensic investigator. This attitude change can be attributed to several arguments.
