Purpose: To Recognize and Use Symbols to Communicate an Idea.

Part 1

Find and photograph as many symbols as you can to illustrate each of the following themes:

1. Power.
2. Wealth.
3. Patriotism.
4. A symbol of your choice.

Try to be as original as possible in order to avoid clichés.

Part 2

Choose one or more symbols from Part 1 and associate them with a product. Create a photograph of the product in a way that associates it with the symbol (Jaguar has already been taken—find something else). You can do this in-camera or by creating a composite with software such as onOne.
