LOGIC GATES

INTRODUCTION

Boolean algebra is a mathematical system operating on binary digits or bits specifically 0’s and 1’s. They perform several mathematical operations. Digital circuits that have one or more inputs, but only one output that can perform logical operations are called logic gates. The most common gates are AND, OR, and NOT, and they are written in capital letters to help differentiate the same words used in English communication. A combination of these logic gates helps to perform various logical and arithmetic functions.
