Experimentation

Chapter 10 takes the restrictions off where you might go with your digitally produced artwork. There is every opportunity available to combine various mediums. Some of the artists featured in Chapter 3 employ a variety of traditional art mediums in their digital work.

I would encourage you to keep a scrap bin of discarded prints that can be used for experimentation. Feel free to tear them up and collage them with other elements or draw and paint on them—in short, have fun with the imagery and see where it might lead you. We’ll begin by recapping traditional printmaking processes.
