CONCEPT

The idea behind this work was to create an illustration that used contrast to catch the viewer’s attention. It was also my entry in CGSociety’s “Steampunk” challenge. There were many different types of contrast I wanted to put into the work, such as big vs. small, bright vs. dark, savage vs. intelligent, eastern vs. western and ancient vs. modern.
