INTRODUCTION
My name is Tomasz Jedruszek and what follows is a comprehensive look into the working process behind of one of my latest and most successful images, Icarus Day. The image was created for the CGSociety “Steampunk” challenge and luckily it won the “Digital Painting” Category along with a “CGS Choice Award”. Aside from the technical issues, you may be interested in why this image is so powerful and so I will try to explain this also.
