24. Gallery of Work: New Technology
Carbon48″ × 48″. Laser Engraving on Birch Box. I started out by painting the boxes in layers of black, white, and yellow acrylic paints. Then I converted the image file to black and white, and processed it with special image processing software from Andromeda Software, Inc. to achieve this look. I printed the image using a CO2 laser, which burned off the surface in different layers to expose the colors.
