Lambda needs many libraries during invocation. Lambda will always look for the latest libraries and security updates, but this will also bring changes in the behavior of the lambda function. As a result, it is best to package the dependencies along with the functions and deploy them. They should also be controlled and managed for the sake of performance within the lower environments.
